Southern Landscape Renovations is certified with the State of Alabama with Setting of Landscape Plants (SLP) and carry a General Liability policy.
My husband and I moved to Fairhope in 2012 and bought a brand new house. Our backyard had one old pecan tree and lots of recently sodded grass. What an ugly blank slate. We feel very fortunate that Ric Bennett and Tyler Brown of Southern Landscape Renovations were recommended to us by the folks at Old Tyme Feed and Garden Supply. Ric and Tyler came to our house and spent a few hours talking with us about what we wanted, they listened carefully to our ideas and made recommendations based on the look we wanted. It was obvious that they were extremely knowledgeable about plants and trees that grow well in this area, and ones that require little maintenance. We were impressed with their level of expertise and their easy professionalism. Ric returned a week later with a wonderful, full color drawing that diagramed their plan for our backyard. We had the entire backyard landscaped. SLR created lovely curved, sweeping garden areas around the entire yard, all four sides, and filled the gardens with an incredible variety of plants and trees. We had been impressed with their knowledge and expertise, but during the development of the landscaping we were amazed by their organization and magnificent work ethic. It has been two years since the work was completed and we continue to be amazed at how fabulous our backyard looks people who visit are always full of complements. We have been so pleased with the quality of the work done by SLR that we have used them for additional projects in our yard. They are the only landscaping company that we use and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a highly professional, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy company.
